The Bravado original basic nursing bra has the ability to stretch and contract to fit a woman's breasts without becoming too tight if she is engorged. This reduces the risk of mastitis.

This basic style maternity/nursing bra is suitable for smaller cups and has a distinct cross over cup design. We also stock the plus and double plus sizes if you require a larger bra. It has a sports-style back that provides great upper-middle back support and holds the shoulder straps in place - even when you are nursing! Furthermore, the shoulder straps are adjustable for extra comfort. It has snaps that lie flat under close-fitting clothing, and can be opened and closed with one hand. The cups drop fully away from the breast giving complete skin-to-skin access for the baby, which is recommended by breast feeding advisors.

The fact that the bra has a flexible and versatile sizing scheme means fitting is easier, as the bra will accommodate itself over approximately two sizes. The under elastic has been designed to be wide so that it gives extra support under the breast and it does not ride up or slip. It is machine washable and it is recommended that ordinary powder and detergents are used. However, using dryers is not recommended. Searching for an underwired post-natal nursing bra? This 44D nursing bra from Anita has the convenient Kwik Klip for easy one-handed opening and closing. The underwire has an especially soft workmanship to help give a perfect fit. It also has a great innercradle that gives an even better support. The feminine material is a specially developed soft, light transparent microfiber with a modern Jacquard pattern.

The soft cups are seamless and have a slight stretch to them. Cups also have built-in transparent breast support along the bottom and up the side which is attached to the strap. The straps are all elastic and the width of the back increases in larger sizes. The back has 2 hooks with 3 settings.

What about washing? The 5035 from Anita can be machine washed in a laundry bag, however it should be hung to dry.
